As previously reported, my guardians’ friend, MaryLou, flew from Denver to be with us in late March. We all had fun together, of course. Following up, she surprised me (very pleasantly) by sending this original haiku, the first of its kind*:
Wally
Glistening black oval nose,
Surrounded by wheat.
A frolicsome fur package.
